Drum Scanning

At Mark Zissis's studio lab, we have two in-house state of the art Heidelberg drum scanners, Tango and Chromagraph S3400. Both deliver excellent shadow detail and an amazing 10,780 maximum resolution, allowing us to make large prints with detail that is umparalleled.

These drum scanners carry out all aspects of turning our stunning colour transparencies and assorted film into ultra large digital files, which are then ready for print. Each of our high end drum scanners can produce files from 10 megabytes to 7 gigabytes, giving the ability to print from AO size to billboards.

We can scan as little as 35mm film up to A3 film.

Three types are software are used in the process.
