Standing back at least 1 km fro the domes, I wanted to show a full featured shot using Kata Tjuta scrub in the foreground. Waiting for the right time to shoot I had to make sure there were no shadows on the domes. I had spend the day framing different angles, and settled with this spot, and I kept it for the last shot of the day. The Olgas stand over 350 metres high. They are the largest monolith in Australia. I love the bright red domes on sunset, and the fading pink hues of the sky. omething to remember.
