The 12 Apostles are one of Australia's best locations on our coastlines to shoot. I purposely planned a trip to get there in the middle of July. If I was going to shoot the Apostles, I wanted it miserable, and for a good reason. Storm clouds add so much weight to the sky. What I got was perfect conditions. The other step was to get my own angle. How can I make a masterpiece of an image while at a lookout? I did the opposite, walking through the scrub for several hundred metres setting up camera, waiting for the clouds to form perfectly. A storm was brewing...
