MORNING GLORY, COAL CLIFF POINT, NSW

This image is another of my favourites. not jut for the looks but the sheer determination to capture gods rays. I drove down the south coast several mornings to capture this image, even to the point when I packed my camera gear and headed back to the car, i noticed the sun hindering behind clouds off the horizon. I thought to myself that i might just get the shot i was waiting for. I raced back down the rocky escarpment and set up camera as fast as i could load the film, the sin broke through leaving gods rays over the ocean. I had within a minute to capture this shot, i threw on a one stop filter and bracketed down the aperture to stop light emulsion on the film. Very simple but moving.
